The IAF Technological College
The IAF Technological College in Beersheba was founded in 1976. It is a high school and an air force college, whose prime goals are to serve as a pre-military educational institution for young people in Israel who wish to serve in the technical system of the Air Force and to train technicians and practical engineers in the fields of aeronautical engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, electronics and computer engineering, aerospace and software engineering.
The students in this school are accepted to the high school in the ninth or tenth grades. They graduate high school after 12th grade with a major in electronics, computer science, mechanics and other technological subjects connected to aircraft. There is also an option to study two more years and graduate with a practical engineer diploma.
