Australian Soldier's Park

Location: Abba Ahimeir Avenue, Beersheba.

The park commemorates the soldiers of Anzac who fought for this territory and tried to take the land from the Turks during the First World War. Inside the park there is a memorial area for the Australian soldiers and in the center there is a statue of Australian soldier riding a horse and an amphitheater. Around the park there are landmarks that tell the story of the place and describe the battle and its importance. Every year on October 31st there is a ceremony to honor this event. The park hosts visits and coordinated tours to groups from Israel and abroad about the conquest of Beersheba by the Anzak. Accessible to people with special needs.

Opening Hours: The park is usually open to the general public, except for days and hours during which activities are held for children with special needs: Sunday -Thursday between 11:00 and 21:00, Friday: 08:30-21:00 and Saturday: 08:30-21:00. The entrance to the park is free.
