Allenby Garden

Allenby Garden was the first public garden in Beersheba. It was opened in 1902 by the Ottomans who used it for different ceremonies and public events.

After the war, the British who took over Israel built a monument to honor their commander General Allenby. In the center of the garden, you can still see his statue.
