The Israeli Air Force Museum
The Israeli Air Force Museum is located at Hatzerim Airbase in the Negev desert. The museum was established in 1977 and has been open to the public since 1991. The museum has more than 150 aircrafts, including some planes that were used in the World War II era, such as Spitfires, and planes that are still in use like the F-16. Other sections of the museum have anti-aircraft weapons, old-propeller planes, planes that were captured from neighboring countries, such as Syria, and helicopters.
